Please keep fire and hot objects away from Royal Grass® (or any other brand of artificial grass for that matter). Royal Grass® is made of high-quality synthetic material that does not burn, but will melt when in contact with fire and hot objects. With normal use there is no need to worry about your artificial lawn catching fire. The sand of sand-filled artificial turf has a fire-extinguishing effect and is fireproof.
If artificial grass is exposed to open fire for a longer period of time it can be dangerous. However, as long as the grass has an infill with a layer of sand, it will prevent the fire from spreading and it can actually extinguish the fire. Please note that only artificial grass with sand infill is fireproof.
